Adding kindness to the world…
one lesson at a time.
It all began with Explore Kindness, a social skills curriculum helping primary grade teachers build kindness in the academic setting. After a two-year research study, Explore Kindness received an A+ from Penn State, Behrend, Prevention of Aggression Resource Center. It was also designated by CASEL (the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning) as a recommended program for social and emotional learning.
Building on this success and by popular demand, we developed Explore God’s Kindness, an extension of the curriculum customized for church communities. This was a natural choice, as the principles of Explore Kindness have always reflected the core teachings of Christ: kindness, forgiveness, respect, and service.
The goals of Explore God’s Kindness are three-fold:
Create a Sunday School/Children’s Church curriculum that teaches PreK–3rd grade students about the power of God’s love and the lessons of Christ.
Provide Leaders with fun, simple choices to customize each lesson, using minimal tools and prep.
Engage teens and tweens as Junior Leaders with interactive activities that mentor children and fulfill a service role within the larger church community.
